Kenilworth Public Library
Student (minimum age 16)

Monday 3:00-5:30, Wednesday 3:00-5:30, Friday 3:00-5:00

Primary Duties:
• Work under the direction of a library staff member.
• Shelve books and other materials in all sections of the library.
• Maintain order of shelved materials; i.e. edging, alphabetizing, Dewey decimal, and pulling books to be discarded and then shift collection
• Relocate and shift collections to optimize space
• Maintain basic knowledge of library facilities and services
• Communicate information to the library staff
• Shelf reading
• Other tasks assigned by the Library director or staff member

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to remember and carry out directions
• Proficiency and interest in learning new skills
• Ability to obtain working papers

The position pays $10.00 per hour. Applications accepted until position is filled.
